My name is Makayla Anderson, and I am a senior at Connections Academy in Chatfield, Minnesota. I am passionate about healthcare, advocacy, and creating opportunities for students to engage in meaningful community work. Through my involvement in organizations like ElevateMed, Girls in Oncology, and Project Paws, I have developed leadership, communication, and organizational skills that I hope to bring to AOC. My goal is to collaborate with fellow students to raise awareness on important issues, promote equity, and develop innovative solutions to challenges in our communities. I am excited to learn from others, contribute my ideas, and make a lasting impact through my participation in AOC.
